Prof. Anand Pawar, a distinguished academician and administrator, currently serves as the Dean of the Faculty of Commerce & Business Management and the Director, Directorate of Materials and Publications at Dr. B.R. Ambedkar Open University, Hyderabad. Currently, he is also President of the Institution’s Innovation Council (IIC-AICTE) at BRAOU. Recognized for his exceptional contributions to education, he was honored with the prestigious State Meritorious (Best) Teacher Award-2022 by the Government of Telangana. He is an alumnus of Osmania University for obtaining his Ph.D. in Marketing and Post Graduation in MBA, M.Com, and M.Phil. from Kakatiya University, Prof. Pawar possesses a profound foundation in Commerce and Business Management. As an accomplished scholar and mentor, he has guided eight doctoral and M.Phil scholars and several master’s students and is currently supervising eight research scholars, contributing significantly to the academic and professional development of future leaders. He is also a member of several professional organizations and a Member of the Telangana Integrated Common Entrance Test (TG ICET), since 2019. Conducted several training as the director of Centre for Staff Training and Development (CSTD) till recently.

Prof. Pawar’s academic journey is adorned with over 100 scholarly articles published in International and national repute including Scopus and ABDC Indexed Journals. He has written more than 25 textbooks & edited more than 70 books, covering a diverse range of subjects such as Higher Education, Management, Leadership, Marketing, Branding, Indian Banking, Digital Banking, Management of NPAs, Institutional Agricultural Credit, Organizational Behaviour, Business Environment, Entrepreneurship Development, Big Data Technology, Business Insights, etc. His insightful work has left an indelible mark on these fields, establishing him as a thought leader. Beyond his academic and administrative roles, Prof. Pawar is deeply committed to mentoring, providing both personal and professional guidance to students, and helping them chart a successful path for their growth. With a wealth of experience across various positions and an unwavering dedication to education and research, Prof. Pawar remains an inspiration to many in the field of Commerce and Business Management for his Teaching research and extension activities including a patent publication.
